Recently I created a second cover for Amy Huberman's novel I wished for you.
The art director Justinia Baird-Murray requested "a young woman kicking up her heels".
Above is the approved sketch.
After completing the drawing Justinia asked for a 'midnight romance vibe' so in Photoshop I reversed out the line in white and added a midnight blue background. Final cover above.
