Penguin print in Design Lines

The summer issue of Design Lines is out! It's jammed with all sorts of great stuff plus contains the Annual Shopping Guide organized by neighbourhood.

My Reading for Profit silkscreen print - framed by Telegramme prints appears in a home decorated by Interior designer Doreen Landow.
*Please note this Penguin title is sold out but in the next month I'll have another edition of
A Room of One's Own available.

Talented friends

The last couple weeks have been full of hijinks from my fellow creative friends.

This week my friend Liz Kingstone's house is featured on House + Home Online TV.

Check out her colourful space! Love that Kilm in the entranceway.
Just last week Liz hosted a jewelry party in fabulous home. Her earrings, rings + necklaces looked great and sold like hot cakes.

Here are Liz's silver stud earrings. (40.00 a pair)
(Stay tuned:  She'll have a website + Pinterest page soon!)

My Ceramicist friend Araceli has been creating a series of bowls based on famous buildings.

Below are 2 of my favourites.
On top: Place des Vosges  Below: St. George Antiochian Church

Aren't they great?

Lastly my friend Nora had the launch for her new book last night.
Here she is glowing at the book signing table.

Congrats all!

Dancing Cheek to Cheek

This is an illustration I created for an invitation to a New Year's Eve Ball.
I worked on this project with the talented husband + wife design team Sali Tabacchi. Melissa + Henry are the designers behind Azure magazine, Design Lines, and Mjolk amongst many other projects.
For the design of the invite I love how Melissa reversed out my drawing in light blue and then laid it against a dark background for a very "twinkly + elegant evening out" vibe.
